Responsibilities
- Develop IT strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead mega technology/digital transformational projects at a strategic and national level.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure management, system maintenance, and user support.
- Handle the security of the company's IT systems and data by implementing cybersecurity measures.
- Collaborate with the project management department to identify new technology needs and opportunities.
- Manage IT budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient operations while meeting business requirements.
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to support IT initiatives and projects.
- Develop and implement IT policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Direct contact with the senior management on IT-related matters, providing regular updates and insights into IT performance and initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on the planning and launch of end-to-end quality improvement programs and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the IT department of an insurance company or related industry.
- Strong experience in cybersecurity, and infrastructure, and experience in security controls and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
