Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing feedback to senior management.
- Analyze functional specifications and create detailed, structured test cases.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Identify, record, and document defects, ensuring thorough tracking and resolution.
- Develop and apply testing processes to meet client needs.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, stress, scalability, and integration testing.
- Validate executable code against design and test system behavior under unexpected conditions.
- Perform compatibility testing across different environments, including web and mobile.
- Lead automation efforts, execute automation test cycles, and analyze test results.
- Monitor debugging efforts and report results to management.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and strategies.
- Provide recommendations for quality improvement and risk mitigation.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to identify functional and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with the Business Analyst team to detect and resolve defects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: ISTQB Certified Tester (Preferred).
- 1–3 years in software testing, QA methodologies, and automation.
- Experience with QA tools such as Quality Center, ClearQuest, Requisite Pro, Test Director, and JIRA.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c databases and Oracle Forms.
- Proficiency in Selenium, QTP, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience in the Oracle and Java ecosystem.
