Responsibilities
- Working with Business users/Clients to gather requirements and design, create, and implement database systems based on the requirements.
- Design and develop database tables, stored procedures, and triggers in SQL Server.
- Designing logical and physical database structure to facilitate analysis of data from both operational and client perspectives.
- Migrating SQL instances from SQL 2014 to SQL 2016 and on-prem SQL to Azure SQL in dev/test/production environments.
- Work on the performance tuning of the database and Writing queries used for front-end applications (websites, desktop applications, or cloud apps).
- Development and Deploying of the SSRS reports using reporting services.
- Maintain Alerts, notifications, Jobs, and Job schedules. Monitor connections and locks and performance of SQL server to track historical peak load on servers and proactively managed them.
- Creating and maintaining Audits, stored procedures, and user-defined functions as per client requirements and creating database triggers for automation.
Qualification
- This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or information technology.
