Main Accountabilities/Duties

Leadership/Vision

  • Provide inspired leadership projects wide.
  • Make decisions about policy and strategy.
  • Report to the Program Manager to keep him/her informed.
  • Coordinate with field digital jobs coaching and mentorship partners.
  • Connect youth with paid internship opportunities for 2-months (minimum) to attain practical experience.
  • Develop and implement an operational and strategical plan.
  • Work with the Program Manager to determine the project values and mission, and plan for short- and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the project.
  • Value innovation and make it a priority from the start.
  • Delegate project tasks based on staff members' strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.

Cash Flow/Financials

  • Oversee the project fiscal activity, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Ensure that all activities are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget.
  • Outline budgets, cash flow projections based on assumed, expenses, data, and field analysis.

Team Building

  • Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
  • Work with senior stakeholders, financial officers, and other executives.

Sales/Fundraising

  • Communicate and report to current sponsor or Donor.
  • Participate in competitions and pitches of proposals.

Brand Management

  • Act as a primary spokesperson for the project.
  • Contribute to the development of the project marketing plan.

Corporate Development

  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.

Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the project.
  • Contribute to the design and development of the project technology architecture while understanding the technology needs.

Legal

  • Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

 

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Computer Science, Management, or any related major.
  • MBA is a plus.

 

Experience, Skills & Competencies, Knowledge

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the related field. Good work experience in a digital or startup environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong structuring and analytical skills combined with a hands-on attitude.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership, very good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem solving and innovation.
  • Teamwork and team building. Independent, flexible, open-minded, and speedy, Extroverted, confident, enthusiastic, persuasive, Self-motivated with the ability to work under own initiative.

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of management culture in Jordan, especially in Employment and Partnership.
  • Good record of achievements.
  • Must have expertise in partnerships and networking with a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. Knowledge in NGOs and the private sector.

  • Internal: Employees.
  • External: Clients/Organizations/Donors/Consultants.

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

 Office work and field visits when needed.
