• Ability to develop reusable components that expose a simple, friendly and sensible API.
• Ability to develop rich Single Page Applications (SPAs) (e.g. tabular view of products or a store checkout experience).

HTML5/CSS3/JS

• Experience with creating responsive layouts using Bootstrap.
• Ability to write readable and well-organized HTML.
• Experience with the ins and outs of CSS (selectors, properties).
• Ability to write modern JavaScript (e.g. async/await, arrow functions).
• Overall excellent competence in translating conceptual UI designs into implementations.

UI/UX Design

• Experience with creating principled user interfaces with attention to visual hierarchy, contrast, alignment, negative space and other design aspects.
• An eye for detail (e.g. can immediately spot element misalignment, odd colors and similar design inconsistencies).
• Ability to produce intuitive and joyful user interfaces.

Git and GitHub

• Excellent command of Git, including branching, merging, rebasing etc.
• Experience with contributing to GitHub projects using GitFlow or similar.
