Responsibilities

• Builds, maintains, upgrades, and continuously improves security, networks, and infrastructure in hybrid-cloud environment.
• Management, maintenance and support of the security, network, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Responsible for the operations of secure hybrid-cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software.
• Coordinate enhancements and deployment efforts and to provide insight and recommendations for implementing on hybrid-multi cloud solutions.
• Store and protect business data.
• Establish common policies and procedures to configure/secure cloud data and applications
• Manage and optimize hybrid-cloud costs and utilization
• Design workloads for high availability

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a systems administrator in a systems operation’s role
• Capability to select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements
• Ability to work with virtualization technology
• Experience in monitoring and auditing systems
• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls)
• Ability to translate architectural requirements
• Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems,
• Knowhow to implement and control the flow of data, to and from a service provider
• Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
• Capability to migrate on-premises workload to service providers
• Knowledge of key features of Cloud Service Providers
• Understanding of application lifecycle management
• Ability to use continuous integration and distribution pipelines to deploy applications
• Ability to code to implement essential security measures
• Understanding in the use of containers in development processes
• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Good to have :

• Deployment of Dev/Cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to deal with different database and platform vendors (Open source, Microsoft, etc.)
